IPPT, IPT & RT Questions...

what i heard is SAF intend to scrap IPT systm cos the passing rate never goes up. haha i guess maybe will back to 20 sessions of RT.

won't scrap lah, just make improvements to improve the passing rate. It's just like RT, they want people to pass by implementing RT but in the end, still got so many ippt failures. That's didn't work, don't see and hear them say scraping RT.

Hi guys, was reading the last few pages, seems that there is a change of rule for IPT? Meaning that the last session of your IPT 's IPPT test must perform better than your 1st session's IPPT, if not, you will not be exampted from RT? Is this true?

I heard from bedok fcc oc, they will be starting this program soon. can't remember the exact date they will implement this change.

Anyway need to ask..

If i got mc for rt, no need to do make up right?

But will they minus the counter as in i'm only allowed to miss 2/3 rt...if i miss one..due to mc...means i'm only allowed to miss another 1 or 2 more time regardless is mc or any other reason?

That's only an unofficial rule. There is no official word that 1 may miss RT without doing makeup. People just assume that is correct. You may still be charged by your unit if you don't do make up or complete all the RT sessions.

forever will have many ippt failures... cos its already in the mindset, nsmen are "forced" to passed ippt if not go for RT. In the first place the mentality is already not right.. maybe a huge money motivation will works. pass ippt get 1k, get silver get 3k get gold get 6k. haha.

hmm...earlier this year, when i went for ipt, the pti said there are plans to increase the reward. He said all the rewards maybe doubled to increase to motivation of nsmen in passing ippt.
