NEW IPT SYSTEM Explained

-7 Trg+1 Test in 5 weeks

-No fixed schdule,Nsman can come anyday(Mon-Thurs,Sat PM)

-NSman are to book a Non-ICT IPPT for thier last session before the date printed on your outpro slip
and after your 7th session

-NSman must have 1 day rest in between(i.e Session must be on alternate days)

-Max 3 Session/week

-NSman will have to clear his RT in his current window,if any

then what abt the system saying tt my ipt end date for booking is 14/4/2010 and it onli shows up to 14/4 for the start date..??

What anyhowsaysay said is true...they only open for 3 months...then they will update it again in april for you...

What anyhowsaysay said is true...they only open for 3 months...then they will update it again in april for you...

so now can book anytime as long complete within 5 weeks? but then again i check ns portal and my schedule is mon and tues leh

Yup I have not received any thing from MINDEF to do IPPT at all since I ORD in 1998. Will they sent me a letter to remind me to do IPPT? Cause I never received any.

Last letter I received from them is when I went overseas without telling them-that was 2 years ago. Now whenever I go, I report.
Any idea what is the last age for reservist call-up( was only a Corporal when I ORD).

Totally not fit now... Old and bloated- sure to fail IPPT if have to go.

got read but ns portal shown is different from what you say leh. mine still have schedule from 1 feb to end feb and only mon and tues.....wed thurs sat no option to select leh

Long time ago, your unit will sent letter to you every year asking you to book for IPPT from a given date range. Up till few years ago, is OTOT to book your IPPT online within your birthday window dates.
Your last reservist call-up will either be,
1. You completed your 7HK 3LK ICT with at least 10 years NS cycles or more, or
2. If you reach 40yrs old for WOSPEC.

1 & 2 applies to wichever is earlier.

you don't need to select mah...already told you it's from mon to thurs plus sat noon...so just OTOT go lor...

Wah like that they can still call me even when I am pass 45.... so its up to me to book my IPPT then, even if I dont have any unit.

aiya, you escaped so many years liao...just hope and pray for peace for the next 2 years lor...

you done your FFI liao anot? if you didn't pass, don't need to take ippt also...

even if they do call you up, just defer or report sick or fail ffi till 40 unless you are officer. ippt just go there scan and do 1 or 2 stations then say give up.

45yrs old no more liao lah. If you have not MR, the max liability age for men is until 40yrs old only.

Im sure they have copies of my record. I think I better keep low profile. When I was fitter abt 6years ago, I thought of booking for IPPT but call them(ns hotline) and they say I have no vocation and unit yet and will get back to me. Have not call me since then.

If I remember correctly after ord, I was called up once to a camp in Clementi to check my gear or something. I ask to report to MO then and I a get excuse wearing permanently, cant remember wat PES status. Nothing from them after that.
As mention I have no unit to report to since then and no vocation.

That's different...FFI is to be done at 35, 37, 39, 40

I will be 38 this year. Hopefully dont have to do till when I hit 39. You mention about read : summons.. cant find that article or thread.
