Hi hwz buddies, I have a question to ask you experts here.
My friend ABC is 39 now. Every year he will take IPT, but this is a special year and he got an idea.:s12:

This year can he just take and fail IPPT instead of going for the IPT, so that next year ABC won't have to go for RT as he will 40 (MR loh). In this way ABC only go for 1 session(IPPT) versus 8 sessions(IPT). Possible? Any lao jiao had done it before?
Please share experience?:)

Just a question, do you need to do an IPPT between your ORD date and your birthday? eg i ORD in JAN, birthday in JUNE, do I need to do an IPPT in between? I am C1 personel so eligible for IPPT, but didn't do a single IPPT in my NSF life lest those in tekong which I heard didn't count, my unit never said anything as well.

Yes, go to counter and say that you want to do makeup. RT where got siong 1, you got put in your 100% effort?

Depends on your unit. If they are strict, they can even charge you for missing 1 RT session.

i dunno abt RT for other fcc but bedok one i always see them play games like cpt's ball, frisbee. if not for 20 sessions which would disrupt my work, i would have joined RT instead of IPT.

Got question for those lao jiao RT peeps ...

If you are suppose to book RT within 1 month of your birthday cos you never pass, but if you are unable to do so because there's no slot in the online booking system, then what next? Call mindef? or wait for a few days for the slots to come in ?

either call ns.sg or wait a few days(if you can afford to wait as you have to book RT within 2 months after your window is closed)...if you want fast, just call ns.sg.

You can just call the hotline and inform them about the problem. Your unit IPPT clerk should call you back a few days after you have done this to do the booking manually for you.

Just to ask, my IPT session starts on 14 April (it is my 1st session).

Can I go on another day after 14th, say 15th or 16th to start my 1st session ?

Thanks in advance.

No issues on going 15th / 16th , theres ppl in the flexi ipt which start their IPT 1st session on 2nd week ... thus no issues.

Just sound out to them that u 1st session as need to take cat test aka ippt .
