Hi got a question, probably answer before.

I am doing full 20 rt. but in between skip a few. So need to rebook.

Which are the rt sessions that need ippt. Is it 8th, 14th and 20th session?

U can default ippt for 3 times. After that, u won't be able book anymore.

So if u have yet to default, it's ok to miss it but u got only 2 more chances to book.

for ippt only...if u default 3 times, means u won't be able to book till your next window.

Yes, before the otot booking system, if u default 2 times on rt/ipt, u are out. Now as long as u rebook another session as make up, it's ok.

Ad for ippt defaults, it only applies to non-ict ippt booking.

I just completed my 10th session of IPT yesterday, but fail to meet the required PPT. So the next step is to book for 8 sessions of RT? when can I start to book? Can i book for next week slot if available so that I can chop chop finish?

Can only book after your ippt window is closed, cannot book early.

if you are under the new ippt system then first 9 months of window is for ippt and ipt. last 3 months of the same window is for rt. but you can still try to clear your ippt in the last 3 months.

hi guys, sry if this is a repeat post

i didnt book my RT till ytd was my first session. my RT session expires 17 sept and unable to complete my 20 RT sessions in time. so far only able to clear 10 sessions before 17 sept. i was briefed saying that i can extend additional month manually through fcc. but nv question them for further details.

before i bk my RT, i called mindef request for extension, they ask me email them. fine. i emailed. no reply ever since. 2 wks later i called them, they told me my request was rejected and i wasnt inform. fug up system.

the reason i nv book early is,

- starting of the yr got final yr exam don wan to waste time doing RT
- graduated liao got a job, on course for 3 months. sign bond with company. training hrs from 0830-1730. no time to go RT till now. i applied this job even before i graduate. theres only 1 month free period before i started work.

this job require shift work. so theres are times i cannot go for RT.



so how arh? kena charge by who? need report to cmpb? if i were to get charge, its my first time

Other reasons not really accepted other than a medical excuse.

You will be sent a charge letter and they will tell u where and when to report. 1st time normally reprimand, if strict officer, then fine. May need to redo rt.

yes.

anyway, just sound humble and apologise, say u won't do it again, then higher chance of not getting the fine. Story can cut short too.

Woah sian.. Thought can complete half and continue another half after charge. I talk to fcc on my next session and see how it goes. Will update here..

My next session will be sat. No choice got to work...

No. All stations must be at least band 1 standard.

Your next IPPT window will start from 01/02/2013 onwards.

a) Please ATTEMPT and PASS your IPPT by 31/10/2012, otherwise you need to complete 20 RT sessions from 01/11/2012 to 31/01/2013.

b) You are strongly encouraged to sign up for IPT if you need additional help to train for your IPPT. The first session must commence before 31/07/2012.

c) Please update your contact nos/email on e-SelfUpdate so that you can be informed via SMS if there is any change to your current IPPT requirement.

d) You have successfully applied for opt-in to IPT in lieu of RT. Please note that you have to complete your IPT, otherwise you will be subjected to disciplinary action.

Yes, u need to clear your ipt by 31st Oct. U will just need to attend 8 rt sessions if u completed 10 ipt sessions and fail in meeting your target band

U will only need to attend 20 rt sessions if u didn't complete your ipt.
