on my 9th ICT, they say verbally i got one more ICT to complete before MR, now this yr June finish 10th ICT liao. never receive anything in writing about MR yet

then i will receive MR letter only after 1 Apr 2013 ?

yes but i think u better check with your unit u have already clock the cycles u need.

last ict should have some mr parade or something.

eh guys. i am supposed to book 20 RT sessions until my birthday window ends on 19 feb. and, i am only unable to book up till 14 sessions, because theres like only 1.5 months left and we need to rest one day in between. What should i do?

use your 1 month extension option...go FCC and fill up the RT extension form.

you have 2+1 months to complete your RT.

if u have used up 2 months and can't complete it, u can ask for 1 more month to complete your rt. talk to the fcc staff or pti, they should know.

No. It's always a +1. Cat test result will only be used if you don't have any previous result.

Means if it's my 2nd year doing IPT, and my last year target band is 3, this year will automatically be 4? So will my first session still be a CAT test?

Yes but result not important. U can try to pass if u want.

Question. I failed my 1st IPPT last saturday. The system prompt that I have to pass Band 2 standard. My IPPT window opens till next march. If I didn't managed to pass this year, I will need to go RT next year I suppose. So if i am to go RT next year, will the IPPT timing the same with IPT band standard or Standard IPPT timing?

If u have completed your ipt, u can still clear your rt if u meet the band given to u.

No i have not completed. I only went for 2 IPT sessions then IPPT already. Now the problem is that I from IPT to RT, so the passing rate will still be according to IPT band standard or the Standard IPPT timing?

The extra 2 sessions are for make-up, just in case u miss any earlier lessons or if u fail by abit and think that the 2 extra sessions can make u pass...




Better check with your unit if you are under IHL. Rumours are that full-time students do their RT during school holidays. You may want to check it out if it's true.

2nd qn...yes, u should receive n sms asking u to book your RT. SOP lah...

3rd qn...not sure, should be 5 months mah....

I don't think IHL are exempted from RT already. I have friends studying full-time in NUS but still going for RT.

My ipt target band 1.

I pass all stations but just wondering if I did pass my 2.4 because band 1 is 14.01-14.40.

No...u will have to book another ippt to clear your band. Cat ippt result only used if u PASS it.

FCC is closed for the holiday break from 22 dec 2012 to 2nd jan 2013.
