hi guys,

I managed to blow my scooba charge....long story short, opened up the charger and realise RV1 is blown and splitted. Any1 know where i can buy a replacement unit fast or is there a kind soul who is willing to try and revive my charger? I dun mind paying a small fee........The key word is FAST...Thanks.

charger model: 13143

Edmax: 98004460

Thanks

did it blow because of the voltage difference locally?

It's likely more than RV1 that blown, u need to change capacitor and fuse I believe.

wow haven't visited this thread for some time now, it's 145 pages and counting! Amazing.

Well my R535 side brush has become botak, all the arms dropped off. Trying to get replacement from iRobot but shipping will be added cost. Thinking of ordering some more accessories (filters, brushes..), anyone want to share buy accessories to average out the shipping? I've got 15% off accessories for 1 time.

Personally, I use to live in a 3 room flat and I bought a scooba 5800 (Remanufactured). It has enough cleaning power to clean the whole place in two cleaning cycles. Other's might recommend the newer scooba's as they can clean a larger area with one cleaning cycle.

Look out for the improved side brushes which is milky white instead of red.

molecule bro, if you need just one brush, can pm me. I think can sell you one, as i hv spare. Just ordered and recieved some accessories fr them. :)

Incidentally, I broke my 340 scooba tank handle, so i ordered a replacement tank and some accessories. My scoobie is back fr a 1 mth long vacation with new scooba juice! I really like the cleaning solution smell, clean and fresh, though I had to make do with water for a while. This will last me for a while. :)

Sorry to hear that, i think he must have his hands full with Li-Ion orders. Alternatively, u can try getting from RoombaExchange. Victor's pretty good as well but he wont ship ex-US. :s27:
