Use Roomba on parquet, u'll be pleased with the result.

on the contrary, i think scooba is ok for sealed floors like parquet. if the quality of laying and sealing is good, the floor should be flat and smooth enough tat not much dampness remains like what happens with tiled floors.

even if still damp, sealed floors should not allow the water to seep in and warp the wood. it is laminate floors which have to be very careful. i always make sure to run through with a dry 3M mop to absorb as much water as possible

Normally I let the fan run while running the scooba, so the water dry up faster on parquet.

I use the fan to hasten the drying too. However as mine is old flooring (!14 yrs) so I take caution with sccoba....I still use it but not that often for that room.

When you apply the code, the total will change and reflect the promo price and google checkout will take that price....anyway, that code expired...you can check out roombareview. People there will alert if there are promo codes.

please help!
after I filled in shipping address(comgateway address) @google checkout @irobot website, the billing address (country field) automatically changed to US, can't edit.
what shall i do?

TIA! :(

have tried filling in Singapore address in the billing address field previously but with standard checkout. the order was accepted by irobot, but got an email 2 days later and was told my order has been cancelled, w/o any reason stated.

i'm afraid the result will be the same. so lazy to try again, errrrr...

i ordered roomba 560.

Recently read some negative reviews on the roomba vacuums. Some questions for you all who own the 500 series roomba.
  • Is it true that the side brushes are fragile? ie. they can snap off easily
  • Battery life, does it have inconsistent run times?

running through with a dry mop is nowhere near tiring as actual mopping since im not pushing down hard at all.

anyways i take this as a chance to touchup the edges to the wall which is the only shortcoming of the irobots and that is it doesnt do edge and corners well

waliew, then it defeat the purpose liaoz....double work leh.

from my experience with amazon so far, only loose items will end up in their external box which is irritatingly quite alot bigger then required.

i bought my scooba from amazon and it arrived in its original cardboard box with its edges taped like crazy. :s13:

i guess amazon will have an external box for their purchase?

wah your site still selling scooba 5900. :s22:
