yup.. it's true.. HSN.com is super picky and they don't ship to freight-forwarding companies. So only way to get that is to have a US resident to buy it on ur behalf. u can't order it direct cos they would demand a local US address.

Hi people,

After chancing upon this thread, I would like to get an irobot for my home. The thing is can the irobot be configured to vacuum all the rooms. The whole house is parquet, therefore will it scratch the flooring?

Lastly, how do I go about ordering it.

Thanks and looking forward to the replies of all the experts here.

Yes you can use lighthouse to allow roomba to sweep each room, though battery may not be enough if you have many rooms. :s22:

I am not sure will it scratch your flooring.

You can order from many online stores such as irobot stores, amazon or woot.com, etc

Which suction valve plastic are u referring to? Have u taken it apart to check. The front bumper not responding sounds like a sticky detection switch...

Well, at least yr 380 has a little more lifepsan than my 350... these fellows dont seems to last long no matter how well we take care of them...:(

Must be pretty rare, its the first i've heard of with a shattered/broken suction valve...:eek:

Do u intend to repair or replace it?

becareful of many bag of airs inside, since they are packing 2 together in an external box. :crazy:

In the box:

You get 2 individually packaged Roombas shipped together in 1 box and contain the following:

* iRobot Roomba 415
* Power Adapter
* Rechargeable Battery
* 2 Virtual Walls (Requires 2 DD batteries, each)
* Filter

:s22: I don't think there are such spare parts available. Somemore don't seem to easily self replace, since it's between machine + shell held tightly.

Maybe I just put it one side let it collect dust.

Trying to try luck order hsn.com 340, since usd$ had fallen a bit now.
