Sigh.

Boderlinx charges me

Dead Weight 18.63kg

Dimensions & Volumetric weight 35" x 24" x 21" = 57.84kg

So the cost is SGD400 plus!!!

Wah.. that is bad. irobot also this pattern. In the end the items are not that cheap after all., no choice but to accept.
But how many you buy?

Do you have discount code for borderlinx? If not you can try this code: 488943 (10% discount) valid till 15/01/2009. Hope save you a bit of cost.

That is very normal for Amazon. They never fail to amazed most of my friends when it arrives at the forwarders. If you are lucky it cost slightly more than $100. Their shipping is free so they just pack into any boxes they have.

not true in my case, I bought 2 roomba from amazon and they shipped just the roomba box itself

You buy from Amazon itself or other seller that list on Amazon site? If you see properly, usually theres's quite a few seller for the same item. You are lucky to hit the correct seller who ship in the original box.

I agree it's ugly. It's shape is suppose to facilitate cleaning at 90 degrees corner but I think roomba's side brush can do better along edges though not at 90 degrees corner.

Hi,

What's the cheapest way to ship a Scooba 380 full set back to USA for replacement? Anyone know any prices?

I've cleaned the Scooba 380 and it still isn't picking up much dirty water. The supplier asked me to ship it back and they will send me a new one (new one shipped to me foc) but I pay for the return.

I hope the supplier is not Irobot. If they see the shipping slip that it is from Singapore, they will void the warranty immediately and would they ship back the defective unit to you?

The shipping should cost you about $70.

Just use a small box to ship back Scooba 380 main unit using singpost's speedpost.

You better confirm with him that you return address is Singapore. I suspect he thinks it's in US. If he ships back to you free then his profit must be a lot.

Thanks, but I have to ship everything back in order to get a new set. (charger, battery etc)

Just wondering if there is a reverse of Vpost, Borderlink etc which handles returns from Singapore to the US?

Only 1 item. But include a few bottles of cloex.

yr clorex is 9 bottles... and by right i think it should come in 2 boxes. 1 is yr scooba n another one the clorex. thats what happened for my 2 orders.

since yr clorex is 9 bottles, its expensive for volumetric. maybe ask them to double check if u think its wrong

btw, for amazon boxes, i asked someone and yea, the boxes v v big. abt 10kg+ and above for volumetric :s22:

someone here mentioned receiving just the irobot box itself. Very lucky. The guy i spoke to received all in Amazon freaking big box. but to him, its ok since he's in US.

maybe u check directly with borderlinx will be better? i think no matter where u ship it back from, the items will still be with a Singapore stamp or documents to show its from Singapore. Its kind of risky. I understand that like Hammer something (the lifetime warranty), their warranty is also for 110V country. once irobot is out of US, warranty is void. But u can try if u bought from them. Maybe create another mail to ask them with another account. the worse is to send everything back and then tell u warranty is not covered outside of US. :s22:

is there's such a term as reverse handling? unless u reject the items and the item shipped back to the sender? otherwise its just treated as ship to the US?>

So what is your shipping cost? Does boderlinx spit the cost into 2 separate boxes?
