can I check for ur 5800? where did you buy from? I understand Amazon normally will double box items so might end up being charge more than the 7.1kg that yours was ...

I bought directly from irobot store when they have 20% discount + free domestic shipping.

For irobot store, they will double box, 5800 external box is same size as inner box.

Only 380 outer box was larger.

At last got the comgateway bill. Both same box size and weight.

shipped via comgateway cost $42.27

vpost before discount cost $55+, even with 10-13% still more expensive.

OOPs. sorry, I meant the roomba 530 vs 535. are they the same?

nope, 535 n 530 aren't the same .... 530 is the currently basic model in the 5 series, there will be lower end ones coming out ... like 510, I read.

535 will wk with lighthouse virtual wall n wireless cmd center, if you choose to buy these add ons later, whereas in this sense ... 530 is a bit more dumb. Not saying this becos' I have a extra unit to let go, but that's what I read.

Do correct me if I left out anything. There's quite a few gurus here ...

btw, how come you get charge GST for a 154usd purchase with vpost? I tot gst is for sgd$400 or more?

vpost is by 1st woot roomba a few mths ago, comgateway is 2nd woot roomba recently.

I forget this bill, which retrieve fm vpost website, whether got include discount or not.

The GST is for the shipping $51+ charge by vpost. $51 shown is before 7% gst.

For above sgd$400, there will be another table below the shipping bill showing how much custom will be charging.

normal woot will last 24hrs or until soldout.

Starting time of new product each day is 1pm sg time.

I guess roomba always come out in woot every 1-2mths, so will not be soldout now.

no worries, 535 is an HSN exclusive model. Currently irobot are selling only 530, 560 n 570 if I am not wrong. I guess it's safe to say bigger the no, the more accessories and more features there is ... for now ...

yah, comgateway is cheaper.

Hmm, comgateway will call you 1st before delivery, for speed guess it's the same as vpost.

To register, you just need to sms DBS.

If you already have a DBS or POSB MasterCard Credit Card and would like to sign up with comGateway, please SMS us at 76060 with the following:

We will then mail you a registration pack within 7 working days for you to register with comGateway.

Yah, same as vpost, they will give you a usa address. Best thing for comgateway, you no need to email them invoice.
