Battery died still want to repair meh?

Prefer you buy the new one, even repair and the charging still short and not that worth for you repair cost.

:)

Like what kimsim said, all batteries has a life span. Just like handphone or car battery, after few hundred charges you may need to change it. If you are unlucky, battery may drain off and need replacement sooner.

A bit off topic.... Dyson bladeless fan is on woot now. Do I need a converter/transformer for it to work in SG? Or can one of you guys do some modification?

Seriously off-topic, unless u're going to use Dyson fan to blow dry the floor after using Scooba, then I guess it's relevant.=:p

Anyway, I can say with 95% certainty that no one here, nor Sim Lim Tower can help u modify USA Dyson fan to 240V.
But good news is, I doubt it requires very high wattage, so Convertor in the range of 150W should be safe, better get those with thermal fuse, or safety shut-off, just in case.

Owner of Dyson fan tells me it's noisy at high setting.
I own a China clone, it's noisy & weak, only useful at close range within 2 m. At 3 m, u have to blast it & still feel only mild breeze.

Be it Dyson or Clone, noise & weak wind are fundamental design limitations.
- Take in 1x air & blow out at 15x???
It's scientifically non-feasible, velocity of air = yes, volume of air pushed out = NO!!!

U turn the tap at small, u set the gun to spray, at close range it feels strong but at a distance, u get only mist that won't hurt a mosquito

If safety & stylo is what u want, then buy Dyson fan.
If room circulation is what u want, then buy Vornado fan.

It'll be pretty costly with the shipping into Sin. Get the clone at less than $60 but it's the table type instead of the standing type as in woot.

Hi,
I just got a new scooba and I charge the battery on the base instead of inside the scoobe.

But i am facing a problem: I do not know when the battery is fuly charged.

On the first charge of 16 hours, the green light on the charger base is still blinking after 24 hours.

So How do i know if its fully charged or not?

One more question.
My house is only 650 sq ft with 1 bedroom. I noticed the Scooba keep working on the living room and barely cleans the bedroom.

Isit ok when I feel that It has clean the living room enuff, then turn power off while it is still cleaning, shift it to the bedroom , and turn it on to clean again?

Also If i let the Scooba run until its battery runs out, It means it did not have chance to go into " drying mode" and the machine remains quite wet.

Is that harmful?

There is ZERO reason for battery to charge >24 hrs. In fact, it's very hard to make Scooba charge for 16 hrs. It seldom happens, and usually charging ends after ~13 hrs even if u manage to kick-start the "refresh cycle".

Make sure your battery is properly seated in the charger. Try re-seating the battery and charge again. If it still blinks continously after 16 hrs, u've got a faulty battery. In fact, most of the time, u wont see the blinking light past 3 hrs.

U'll get a better cleaning result by segmenting the living area and the bedroom (either by using a virtual wall or simply close the door). U can start by letting Scooba clean the bedroom and keep the door closed. About 15 mins later (more or less depending on the size of your bedroom and the model of your Scooba), go in and press the clean button to get the Scooba to go into drying mode. 5 mins later, Scooba will stop and you can bring it out to the living room to start a new cleaning cycle.
