Jubooo, thanks for the explaination, I definitely respect sellers who put customer support as top priority. A promise is a promise.
And those who can help customers resolve at minimal cost are even better. Smiling face with "Carrot Chopper" behind is what I cannot stand.

Yup do agree. Ensuring customers’ satisfaction and support is always the way to go. If repair cost and charges can be brought down by simple repairs instead of replacement would be a bonus. Glad I could do my part in ensuring lower prices locally and am sure repairs and warranty coverage by our side have been comprehensive enough to not have troubled you. Hehe. Honestly being able to share these wonderful robots that really help people keep their homes clean is a real joy. :)

*Seriously think you should get some form of transportation though.

I suppose the Japs & some Ang Mor have such mentality.....

You're right.....some Ang Mor only. I've seen many corruption too during my stay in LA and I always thought Ang Mor...........

I'm a Guardsmen whom carry more than 30kg most of the mission but I still prefer a car :D That explains why I put on weight now :)

One thing for sure. This is a marketing video by Icebo. Seems slightly bias. Notice the angle at which they lifted up the iclebo, hiding the front. Anyway, not sure how good this Iclebo Arte is, however it predecessor models sold locally have pretty mixed reviews.
The Roomba would probably perform best in picking up heavier objects like sunflower seeds.

Do seem like they stuck or have yet to remove the seal to the bin of the Roboking, Thus it seems to be unable to pickup anything. No way it drops everything it picks up. Hahaha. Always good to read a range of reviews online for best comparisons. :)

Hi Guys,

Would you choose part time maid ($12 per hour X 4) forthnightly or get a robotic cleaner? Maid can do everything but of course you still need to do a bit of work in between. Robotic cleaner can only clean the floor! :) Maybe a combination of both is the best. Haha

I ever use part timers b4 but it's mostly for cleaning of windows/kitchen/toilets but floor wise I need it to be 'roomba-ed' daily cost can get quite dusty in my area. Having e floor swept/mopped once every fortnight is not good enough for me. Just my 2 cents. :)

I guess not much people here on HWZ are using the 780. The 700 series basically works with the same 3 stage patented design as the 500 series besides some new improvements like HEPA filters, bin full sensors (770 & 780) & dirt detector series 2 (770 & 780).

I have a wide range of models for roomba. Feel free to visit my site Robovac iRobot Store for a full range of products & accessories.

The Roomba 780 is a good Robot Cleaner, however fairly pricy too. Like all Roomba, Some people may not like the way it cleans as they find it pretty random. Budget, layout of your home and type of debris like hair, sand or pet fur should be considered before making any purchase. Do read a range of reviews online for a better comparison and hope you choose a brand and model to your liking. :)

Hi, I am asking around:

Where in Singapore can I get the Clorox solution customed for Scooba?

Mine is Scooba 380, it appear that irobot recommends this but already discontinued due to contractual agreement with Clorox.

Without this Clorox for Scooba, what to do next ? Shipping fm US also dunno how much ?

Or anyone has proven alternatives ?

TIA

Today 8May2012, ST, DigiLife has a write out on Roomba 780. Outlet at Denki and etc, the price they advert? SGD1000plus. I guess alternate sellers are still the way to go. Anyway, it appear these days there are lots of writeup on robot cleaner of all brands. The trend is moving there.

There is no more Clorox for Irobot these days, u can either use water, vinegar or the new enzyme cleaner from irobot. For me, regular cleaning I m just using water which is good enough. :)

I guess many bros here really miss the smell of this. I think I still have 2 bottles that's for keeps!

This is like the 3rd time the Straits Time had written about Robovac. 1st was in july 2010 & then another one few months back in 2011. Everytime iRobot is the clear choice by them.

Do not recommend you ship the clorox from the US as firstly packaging container may leak during transporting, shipping liquid may also result in your shipment being held by customs and shipping via Vpost is pretty ex these days.
I have seen the Scooba used with off the shelf natural enzymes floor cleaners too, seems gentle enough for use with scooba tank. Just do not use any Dettol or Dettol brand floor washing solution. May cause damage to the scooba tank, resulting in breakage of the tank solution outlet. In some cases, even the solution valve on the scooba may break. All repairable though. Would include a D.I.Y Scooba tank repair in my blog soon.
However if you still need the Clorox solution or natural enzyme solution, you can contact me at admin@autovacstore.com or visit Autovacstore.com
