hey guys, after going through most of the thread, can i say that Scooba does an overall cleaner job than Mint when it comes to mopping but maintenance wise it is more of a hassle?

as im undecided between the Scooba 390 and the Mint

Scooba & mint is a total different thing. Though you will still feel freshness after using mint as it wets your floor with it's microfibre cloth, scooba actually scrubs it with its brushes and does not recycle the dirty water.

Maintenance for mint is just a rinse of the cloth and scooba is actually not that difficult to clean too. With proper advice, cleaning & maintaining scooba is not really a chore.

IClebo Smart is what I have now. I will sell it off for 380sgd to get a Roboking 6180 triple eye. That particular model of Roboking has a wifi function whereby it can receive command signals from your smartphone or laptop where ever you are and the three cameras will be available as a roaming surveillance cams sending realtime video to your smartphone. Cool eh?

wah ... maybe no such high end model yet, might need to import fr Korea? Look forward to your review when you get one. ;)

Should you decide to get Scooba, please do note have the perception it will vacuum and mop your floor, cos' it is best used after you run a Roomba. I am speaking from a personal experience, not selling any stuff here. ;)

For the Mint, if you are talking the Mint +, I got a friend who has it and said it can do both but I personally have not tested that. No budget for Mint+ :)

Correction..only forward facing camera can be used for surveillance.. and yes, not available here. Went around several malls and only saw older vacuum bot models that the salesmen talked very highly about.

Cocorobo is out too, wifi, surveillance cam, can speak english, chinese and japanese kansai, can interact and talk to while cleaning, air purifier, voice commands yes and bunch of features we actually dont need of like letting it turn on/off the washing machine, turn on the lights, tv, aircon etc.. and a promise of continuous reasearch to improve it on future firmware upgrades..

...the price? USD$1,600.00 exclusive of shipping. Ouch!

Hi, we used to carry the LG Roboking triple eye model, 6180 LVM, It arrived together with the 617X models that were from last year. I believe you can find it earlier in the trend. However if you are considering to order the LG Roboking 6180 from overseas, I would not encourage it, as it requires a monthly subscription to a server to use its 3rd eye functions, which include patrolling your home and using it to activate home appliances.

Noticed you mentioned you were using the Iclebo Smart model, if it had served you well, can always consider the Newer Iclebo Arte ($749) as an upgrade.
If you are still keen on the Roboking 6180, don't bother importing yourself, we would gladly better self import prices and provide you warranty. :)
Can also consider the Sharp model with wifi functions and local warranty too.

May I know if the voltage is modified if I get the scooba 380 from the local online stores? My cousin passed me her neato and it has kind of a us plug and an adapter to local power point.

Thanks.

What i hate about iclebo is the rubber blade that tends to fold backwards and compromise its vacuuming performance.

For roboking, triple eye and extra hi tech feature as old model.. making it square and remove wifi features and remove one eye and become dual eye as latest model.. why not triple eye wifi and those cool features and make it square? I dont get it..haha

Roughly how much is the sharp cocorobo will be?

If you got it from the local online store, it's best to check it w the seller. Or you can plug it in and see if go kaput ... Local AD PSU are all mod and I think if you got yours from Uno, Juboo or Vachel, their shd all be modded to local voltage, right guys? :p

You have 3 options,
1) Get it from US, ship to forwarder and sent it to your house
2) Get from any of the seller here and their PSU shd be modded. I know Uno and Juboo mod theirs.
3) Buy from local AD and pay the 'retail' price.

I personally don't recommend option 3 unless u really have too much cash to spare. ;)

Please add Windora or whatever the name is to your collection. People staying in those condo with high ceilings need them ... Hahaha ...

That is useless, you need to change from pane to pane. I would not sell anything that I cannot support and would not want to stock up spares and accessories just to sell that few units.

Not too sure about the older iclebo Smart model, but the iclebo Arte ($749) does seems different in design in the Bin and brushes components. Can always look for the local agent if there are any issues.

Currently there still isn't a 3rd eye model for the LG roboking Square. If you are looking for the 3rd eye model 6180, ($988), we would gladly assist you with it.
The Sharp cocorobo would be much more costly, ard $1588 at least for now, if interest let me know. Windoro is $658 and can be used mainly for tough stains on glass panels of shower screens and kitchen and balcony glass doors, rarely actually for small windows as it does clean pane by pane.
We always bring in the latest models to assist you in cleaning your homes. Others would follow shortly after. All parts and accessories are definitely available. :)

Anyway, Rest assured, we do repairs for faults and errors on-site at your convenience, where we send a technician and do it on the spot, even for Neato RPS error. you would barely be without your bots.

We have a friend in the house that keeps on popping a distress call about LG wheel assemblies for quite a while..indication that likely if the bot has gone wrong, you're on your own. Like what you pm'ed me that the 6180 triple eye needs to connect to a certain server that requires subscription.. is another no-no.. added a fact that it speaks only korean..

Sharp Cocorobo aside from having a steep price, also have parts availability issue as well when gone kaput..

Likely comes back to bump-and-go roomba vs room mapping iclebo arte which depends on the rubber blade design.. with irobot's tons of issues on the web about batteries as I myself having an issue with my scooba battery that only lasts for less than a minute for a fully charged one (now on the 4th hour of 72hours powercycle process, 68hours to go), I find the beater brush feature the best on the lot though.. nothing else has that one, and the abundance of parts and tweakability.. :)

This might not help your battery has one or more bad cells. You can look for Uno as he has the necessary device and patience to resolve it.

If you're looking for new replacement battery, few free to browse my site: www.RobovacShop.com
