:s22: someone here had managed to buy the $99 scheduler.

I don't know how the leak frogs works, it looks silly :s13:

Certainly not using sg cc (perhaps amex). i tried all ways n many cards n still cldnt.

the leak frog is just a water sensor. when v small amt of water is present and 'go' underneath the frog, it joins the contacts which will sound an alarm. It is good to detect water leakage - perhaps can put behind washing machine, dish washer or under old pipes. it will save $ esp when the leakage might damage the carpet, flooring, furniture, etc. I almost tempted to buy but 2 for us15 is exp and i hv nothin to ship to here yet! :D

Ps: perhaps u can put 1 in your balcony n it will alarm u when it is raining! :s13:

heh I was at Courts Tampines yesterday and saw the Roomba 530, 560 & Scooba on sale there. The 560 was price at $988 I think. The Scooba was $1300+ and it looked like the 5900! That's really a high markup. For those who want to see what a unit looks like, can go there, it's on the ground floor. I did take a peek at the power supply tho.

:s22: that is more than x2 price as compared with irobot online store.

How's does the power supply different from USA one? Just a voltage rating different only? :s11:

The Roomba 5xx power supply looks the same shape and size as the US one. Voltage rating is different but output power is the same, the connector is also same so I believe it is easily compatible. The cable is slightly different - For the US power supply the cables are all joined directly to the main block so it is one single part. The local one has a 2 pin cable that is removable from the main block, sort of like those of a notebook power supply. Other than that, externally nothing else.
