S$140 (shipping inclusive from US to SG). This is price b4 discount. If the total order qty hits 10pcs, there'll be a price reduction for everyone.

Since we're talking about batteries, I've read that scooba batteries have to be charged differently from the roomba's. ie. They can't be left to charge 24hrs a day unlike the roomba's.
Further to this, I also read that we have to charge the scooba after one cleaning cycle even though there is still some charge left..

Seems doing the above could kill the battery. Anyone with scooba's charging it for long hours?

Damn, thats expensive, must be its packaging dimension that results in a volumetric weight of 12.4 kg!!!!!!!!!!!! At the end of the day, u might as well get the merchant to ship via USPS, probably similar charges but a lot quicker at least.

GKrobots is charging 638 for scooba. It seems that 800SGD shipping direct is more exp than gkrobots. How did gkrobots did it.

I suppose thats becos it may have better coverage for its battery and speed but not its tank, making it not fully automated in covering the whole flat just like the rest of the models.

It's not just the coverage, it is also lighter which means it will move faster than 5800 (shld be as fast as a roomba) and it is less noisy than 5800. That's the main diff. It is using similar battery but can cover more because of lighter body (more plastic).

I wanted to get 5800 now i am thinkin of gettin 380. If can get good deal fr eBay and pray hard nothin wrong, we shld be able to pay less than S$650 for it. (assuming US$300+US$100 shippin). :s8:

:s8: actually i also thought abt that, but since vpost just charge the same delivery price might as well buy 350 or 380.
