anyone notice any increase in utility bill using such transformers plugged in all the time? I may be imagining but ever since I got my roomba and used a 100W transformer my electricity bill is much higher, might be purely coincidental.

I got one 150W transformer from Newstar since the 100W not available. I runs pretty cool. Still waiting for my 5800 to arrive... takes ages by vpost.

Those awaiting yr reman scooba from recent woot deal, fret not if your scooba is a 5900. I've tried a couple of common floor washing solutions and found that Kao Magiclean (Fresh Floral, blue bottle) works for my reman scooba 5900. Kiwi Kleen (Citrus, anti bacteria), Ajax Fabuluso (Apple, anti bacteria) didn't work for me but Kao did. I used abt 1/4 of the scooba measuring cup LINE. This will save me a lot of $$, cost $5+ per 2L bottle that will last a long time.

Not sure abt the 5900 but the 5800/350/380 can use Kao Magicclean too but less. You only need 2 teaspoons per cycle, anything more may be a bit overkill unless u have extreme grubby flooring IMO. With that, yr 2L/3L MagicClean will last a LOOOOOOOONG time. :)

ya the rest do not have the special sensor. 5900 picky. Reman one I think even pickier! I believe it's abt 3 teaspoon in my estimation so should not be too far off from yours. I measured 1/4 from the LINE, not the cup. :)

bought from a contact whom had it as a gift couple of months back...never used b4...so i believe there is some 'storage time' for this battery...dun know if this set can be classified 'new'...guess i will have to try 72hrs thingy and hope for the best..! :)
some feedback on the 72-charging...hv charged for about 70hrs b4 trying my roomba again..the operation time increased by 15 mins to 45 mins...still an improvement though i think should target 1hr30mins...will try charge another 72-hr cycle again...and hope that slowly the operation time will improve...

You need to register cgw, after that you will be given a usa address which you will need to send the purchase to.

you can purchase irobot direct from irobot online store, shipping address will be cgw usa address.

You mean your 5900 runs with only that amount of blue Magiclean? I tried the green Magiclean with my 5900 but it seems like i need a lot for the 5900 to work. How does the floor feel after the cleaning sessions?
