Can let me know which website you got it from? I tried to order it from the US site but seems very difficult for me as they need me to provide an US address which I do not have.

And how long is the waiting time for the US set to come to SG?

You must read thru some of the posts here to understand the big picture.

For us address we engage 'rifleman' like Vpost, Comgateway, etc. Read and you will be wise. This topics was discussed countless time.

Delivery time from 1 week to 1 month and sometime never see (but seldom loh).

Even the expensive weather strips cannot withstand Roomba's constant bumping here and there. I think i may have a solution:

For those driving, remember there was a time when bumper strips was like an in-thing back in the 80s if i recalled correctly. I was actually looking for a set but it appears that they were no longer popular. However, as i accompanied a friend down to Autobacs a couple of weeks back, I saw them selling the rubber strips. These strips are much tougher than our bubble packs, weather strips, foam thingy, etc. I bet my last dollar that the bumper strip will hold, though they dont come cheap as its a long coil sufficient to wrap around 2 bumpers. Probably long enough to cover 8 to 10 Roombas! :s8:

but it can't be too thick either, then it affect its performance......some areas may not be able to covered liaoz.

They should be fine as the rubber strips are thinner than the thick black weather strip i used on my Roomba. Its however significantly tougher and stronger!

my roomba battery fail already. after 8mths..
did a few reset oso no help..

Perfectly normal. The way i look at these cleaning bots in terms of $$$ is the battery, thats the killer. The high temp and constant partial discharge of the NiMh battery is not good. Perhaps the best option for now is to thrown in a high capacity Li-Ion battery. :s27:

I think my scooba 380 is celebrating it's 1st birthday end of month. :s22:

only battery is dead, but still hold enough charge to clean kitchen or balcony. :s22:

I have a quote for 560 at USD318 + fedex 4-7 day at USD95. Total USD413 which is ~S$570...I think still too expensive...any comments?

still under warrenty..
waiting for the replaced battery to arrive.
with DHL now..

juz send a email to them last week about batt faulty.
they send out the replacement to borderlinx
received the batt at borderlinx this week

Scooba 5800 Stopped Working

Hi anyone experienced that your Scooba 5800 stopped working after storage? Mine was not used for 1 month and I kept in the store. When I tried using it last weekend, the lights on the top kept running and I heard 5 tones up & down whenever I press the power button.

I read from the internet that there are some diagnostic tables on this but none matches the symptoms. I charged the battery fully and even removed it for a day to clear the symptoms. But it still happens whenever the battery was replaced. Can anyone help advice?

The unit is less than 6months old and used less than 5 times :(
