Oh My!!! :eek: You succeeded. I shall try soon... Sian, i almost got the 209 offer but was on a waitlist then got cancelled.

Perhaps you can tell us EXACTLY what you did: like how to put shipping and billing address and so forth. Ha. Finally, it is Singapore, USA which crossed the hsn hurdle. :D

just checking. i have the screeching sound from the bin and having entirely dismantled and cleaned that part, the problem is still there. there is a thin metal rod (hidden and i can't get to it) attached to the plastic vacuum blades .....is it there that i should lubricate? what kind of lubrication can we use? thanks.

Yes, the thin metal rod attached to the blades is the impeller shaft. The screeching noise is very likely caused by the shaft lubricant being dried. U'll have to lubricate it with lubricants like oil or grease. Oil though fluid (easier to apply as it flows) tends to dry off after a while, I have better luck with film lubricant (spray can type) though its more expensive.

thanks for the infor cos i couldn't find any illustration on the net with regards to bin dismantling and cleaning. one more tool to my arsenal of roomba cleaning tools...i guess. lol. the list gets geting longer.

Got a scooba 6050. Is this also the same as 380? Does it suck up pet fur and human hair well? Need to vacuum the floor first before using the scooba?

scooba vacuum is small power, just enough for leaves, hairs, strings, etc.

not sure abt pet hairs.

No need to vacuum floor before using scooba.
