nope... :( this is the cost for the battery from iRobot US.... :(

need to wait for borderlinx to bill me after they receive the battery... hope it's not as expensive as previously when I buy my Roomba...

Why don't get from Amazon? I've seen less than US$50 also have....

How long have u been using the battery? Try doing a re-condition charge... let it charge for 72hrs or so and see if it helps. If not, its time for a new battery. :(

thx. dun my batt spoilt already. charge less den 15 min batt turn green. when i press on, it only last a min then the red light appear

If i recalled correctly,

1) Remove battery from Roomba
2) Press and hold power for 20 secs
3) Re-insert battery back into Roomba
4) Let it charge UNINTERRUPTED for 72hrs

Once its done, try running and see how it goes. Dont keep your hopes high though as hq83 has mentioned, u've been using it for a year already... its about time.

1) Depends on your requirements. Roomba sweeps+vacuums (models have the same cleaning capability, just differ in terms of accessories and ability to schedule) and Scooba washes floor (models differ essentially by coverage area).

2) My Red has gone beyond 2 years but required minor repair (daily operation)

3) Every day, 7 days a week!

4) Never compute.. should not be much since u are essentially charging the battery and the chargers are all smart chargers.

5) Scooba juice is the best. Alternatives are pH neutral floor cleaners. Other users reported success with Kiwi Kleen.

Suggest u visit the forum at Roombareview.com to have a better understanding of Scoobas and Roombas.

Hi all,

Finally ordered a basic roomba and just to confirm, for the Newstar converter, I should be looking at minimum 100W right?

If I'm planning to get a Scooba later on, is this enough or do I need to get the 230W converter?

Thanks.
