There is a Garage Sales forum at HWZ. U can post your WTBs and WTS there. Imagine if we all post our Roomba/Scooba sales/WTBs here, this thread will be cluttered with such stuff, making it all the more harder to search for info. My 2 cents on this.

Hi, thinking of getting the roomba 530, saw from irobot SG and enquired, they selling around $788...will it be cheaper if i order from irobot.com and ship by borderlinx?:o

Get from irobot.com all in should be about S$600/=. Depends on shipping, insurance and exchange rate. If you want to wait for special offer then it will take time to check every now and than.

BTW I am sellng a brand new Scooba 380 at marketplace. Just in case anyone interested. =:p

you can ship by borderline, comgateway or vpost, depends which credit card you have. I think vpost allow you to use debit card or paypal?

Not sure about others but vpost only send to you during office hour and they ship as per what they received.

If no one at home and the notice get blew away, you might get the item weeks to a month after you order it.

If you order few items and the local free shipping put them loosely in a big box (not seal), vpost will just charge you according to the big box. Even each small box inside is fit to ship on their own packing, vpost will not take them out.

The 400 and 4000 are based on the older series platform. The only difference between them is the accessories that comes with the bot and outward appearance. What accessories do u need? Home base for docking? Scheduling remote to set schedule? These accessories can be purchased either from iRobot.com or through other online retailers. U can also try Ebay. IMO, if u are to spend $200 on a 400 and u need to add a homebase, scheduling remote, virtual wall with scheduling, etc., u are better off getting a Roomba Scheduler which will have all these items included for a more value price.

ok:o;)

Ah, woot's infamous external box. :s27:

But, so far, my woot's roomba & scooba all came in the original irobot boxes. :D
