Just curious, is US preventing exporting of battery or Singapore preventing importing of battery?

eBay selling roomba battery with 3yr warranty for less than US30 man....

It is the airline as battery is considered a highly dangerous goods. Even lighter is not suppose to be on aircraft.

Wow, looks very well maintained and no scratches? Or was the picture took after unwrapping?

Jubooo and Kimsim, this pix was taken in 2007 during first charge lah ... I don't use any bumpers or anything, so the roomba has already lots of battle scars. ;)

Currently in use are 2 x 535 at my in laws n 1 x 581 at hm, all very chui looking already, but still trusty as ever!

I bought b4, but shipping will cost you. A colleague of mine brought it back for me, so I paid US30 nett. Do note shipping to some US states will incur taxes, depending on which seller, etc.

Like Uno and Jubooo mentioned, quality is a bit hit and miss, but generally ok. I normally get 1+hr on these OEM batt at a fraction of the cost. Don't bet so much on the 3 yr warranty cos' w no s/n, I am not sure how they are going to track and 'replace' your batt, not considering you might need to ship to and fro for a replacement. ;)

i have bought many scooba batteries b4 from ebay
the main concern would be the shipping cost
i don't think they prohibit such items from being exported

Nice! You can almost do some artwork or spray paint special colours on the face plate? :)

Ha ha, during my spray works, i'm press wrongly paint.
Actual color is sparkling silver color, I used to gold metallic paint,
So I just mixed up the paint and the idea is over there.

2. dining chair leg (point x below)

Hi, you can try at Daiso or Homefix, looks at the white bumper guard or padding comes with double side tape and free cut and paste at the stand fan or chair leg.

Maybe next time I show the pic here then u can see more clearly.

Buy from eBay battery is took from remanufactured roomba battery, if you shiped it to Sg still the same price, does not diff.
(If they sent the old battery and the production date is made from 2008-09 so you still can't see the actual battery).

I will suggest you buy from iRobot website and $USD74.50 and ship to your US address and transfer it to SG = $SGD110 still consider cheaper, if you would like to try it.

direct battery shipping is disallowed. but if you were to ship it with a device (eg roomba, scooba), that one is ok. note, vpost does not allow any kind of battery shipping at all irregardless of device or not.

yours is direct shipping from ebay to you. different from ebay to forwarding company to you.

Agree! Just like an air-con and a car or a motorcycle, you still need to wash filter, do maintenence and if there is anything wrong with the set, replace parts before it goes fully bonkers!

mine coming to 2 years still working great, only replaced battery

I clean the container and brush after every job, take out the base plate once every 3 - 6 months and then use vacuum to suck out all the stuck dirt
