Many do. You just not looking hard enough. Or just buy a 10G network adapter.

The main advantage if you have full 10g is better latency.

The native clock is far more granular than with 1g, which in turn means quite a bit lower latency.

The discussion gets quite a bit more technical, so I'm putting it in excessively simple terms. lol. Go google for more.

You will need to buy a pci-e 10Gb network card for your PC.

Do note that mgig (1/2.5/5g) will not negotiate 2.5 or 5g with a 1/10g switch.
If the mgig PHY supports 10g tho, it will negotiate 10g with the 1/10g switch. The vast majority of mgig equipped motherboards do not support 10G negotiation.
