Is 16GB for Iphone 6+ really enough ?

Need check when received the new phone from singtel Telco, how much capacity is left for 16GB Iphone 6+ ?

Not a heavy storage user, considering 16GB to save cost.

Pls help to advise.

The cost saving is only $140 so I would strongly recommend you to wait for 64GB.

Many will prefer to pay 140 more for the 64GB, including myself. But 16GB is actally enough for light users who just store some songs, pics and does not download a lot of games.

once out of the box, u have abt 11gb storage left. then u have to update to 8.0.2 which i think requires abt 2gb to install. that leaves u with 9gb storage. i got mine yesterday and my advice is for the peace of mind over storage space, go for 64gb.

I decide to wait till this weekend to decide, depend on 64GB stocks.

yea 16gb is..kinda little since it has no other means of increasing (eg sd card).

like everyone suggested, 64gb is the ideal size :/

unless you backup your photos/videos all the time, or you constantly change your songs, every now and then to meet your mood, i think 16gb is good enough for some.

to add on to this, if u guys have outlook/hotmail account, install microsoft onedrive on ur iphones n get additional 15gb (total 30gb cloud storage space) to backup ur camera roll. i think offer ends tmrw. worth it, i say. unfortunately, cannot backup other things from ur phone.

You need 2GB to install the updated because you all choose to do it via OTA.

If you update using itune on ur pc/mac it will store the update in a temp folder and your phone don't need that 2GB space to install.

i am thinking of getting the 16GB only. And as and when need big storage, I will pay for the monthly iCloud storage. Like my coming trip to Jp, i will get that month a 200GB storage for S$4.98. You guys think this strategy for works fr me? I don't storage lots of stuff, but only when I travel then I shoot lots of pics and videos, its good and safer for me to do daily icloud syncing every night in hotel vi wifi.

as a matter of fact, i installed through itunes but i got this feeling that it varies with devices. my ip5 got abt 1gb space eaten up.
