is calling interview at 5pm a red flag?

jialat nowadays gen z want to invite interview also need to see the timing.
Haiz, might as well get jhk. interview on weekend also won’t complaint.

he wants to see whether the gen z candidate can wake up or not... dont later start work every day say grandmother pregnant need accompany her go hospital.

Normally interviews should not be at 8am because interviewee is unfamiliar with the location and may need more time to travel there. But the reason given is valid so TS has to consider.
If TS needs the job, then TS should arrive there latest by 7.50am. If TS does not need the job, then TS can tell the company that he can only make it after 10am.

Got google maps, grab, taxi, can use ChatGPT find location.

"unfamiliarity with location" may be an excuse when there was no smartphones and we are still using street directory to navigate, but its no longer an excuse.

anyway, my time, job interview for my current career was at 1000H, I arrived at 0830H.

Anyway, no worry, foreigners will take the interview any time any day.

today they call u at 8am, next time they say need u to report work at 8am cos he travelling

a proud edmwer knows when to say no and be firm

edit: interviewer is local. reason given he's travelling.
Willing to squeeze you in means interviewer also have to wake up early right… if not keen, interviewer can just push your interview down the line…
