Plant based omega 3 ala is different from fish omega 3 epa dha. epa dha have better benefits than ala.

When I was growing up, my parents made me and my siblings take Scott's Emulsion Cod Liver Oil.

I think it was some sort of Singaporean Parent Fad at that time.

Coz all my friends and cousins were also taking it.

That statement is not correct.

"

Benefits of cod liver oil

Cod liver oil contains high levels of EPA and DHA as well as vitamins A and D."

According to scotts cod liver oil packaging, only the white original flavour has omega 3, orange flavour none. Last time children time only dare to drink the orange flavour.

fish oil capsule is cheaper by servings, typically one serving 2 capsules will have more omega 3 than cod liver oil one serving of 15ml.

Fish oil is cheaper than cod liver oil but to me, both are nature brain boost if you have night classes or need to OT often.

As a kid, I drank both the White Flavour and the Orange Flavour.

Both still taste awful. The Orange flavour did help mask the smell and taste somewhat.

In fact, as I am typing this, memories of the horrible smell and taste is coming back to me.

Of course overrated la. Even if there are truly proven nd consistent benefits, the efficacy is less than 1% and never value for money.
