HTF (high time frame) trading, requires lot of patience. Hence, it is an inevitable fact that many will abandon it in no time and continue in the vicious cycle of constantly looking for better methods - back to the place from where the river flows, there it will flow again. :s22:

LTF (lower time frame) trading. Many traders are good at M5 and M15 time frames. You can become one but it requires you to be at or near the screen to monitor your trade.

About time to develop one new LTF strategy for my children school holidays, to counter pokemon go. :s13:

testing a LTF system.
yes, i know this is really amateurish and laughable with so many lagging indicators.
I will continue to learn and hone my skill.

Any TA pro care to share or exchange pointers?

look at the charts again, beside the EURUSD and USDJPY, which I enter based prior to a dovish FED pawn spewing nonsense.

can you see the others are based on pivots. This strategy is not for those who trigger happy it requires patients and some understanding of price movements.

can you see them now. :)

pivots and a road map. ( road map is my expectation of where the cheap price is - this requires a combination of gut feeling and an understanding(guessing) of the price movement)

i'm trying to get some indicators (i don't use them) that can sort of give some signals for entrance and exit to spice up the chart.

I have no secret, I really stared at the chart for months and reading and researching the links I posted.

I don't usually go to the GMCC but when I see this FCS online I will go there to say Hi to him/her. FCS, remind me of my younger days that get me into ton of problems and heartache for my family. :s13:

GMCC reminds me of those uncles and aunties in the coffee shop betting horse, I was a runner then, they talked so loud but not accurate. But there was this young uncle who came on his super kawasaki bike, 90% of his bet win. So each time he came I will follow his bet.

take the key words from my post and research from there, it will cut down your learning process by months if not years.

stay away from noise and don't be part of noise.

they executed faster than your decision to get out :s13:

look like they get info, bring price lower so that it got room to shoot higher.

USD had been volatile recently with Fed signaling higher probabilities of rate increasing.

Will go Long USD whenever there is a dip.. not much time left for just 1 rate increase this year..

i have 2 monitors on the walls, i call them info panels. They give me a general idea to determine or confirm my bias. Even my children can form an idea with them.

yes, some indicators are good -

these are 2 of my indicators on the info panels

i make use of buy/sell limit, and wait for price to come to me, I never try to catch the bottom nor top. Well, I had tried in the past but was badly beaten. :s13:

just like you, I am not 100% sure where price going to. I can't predict the market.

but with some bias of price direction based on my info panels. I put a buy limit and wait. Sometimes I got nothing just like a futile fishing trip.
