aiyo becoz of ur 4k I really go cinema. When I ask the ticket person they also not sure. Lolx
Guess what I was sitting at last 3rd row. All dam clear but when show ending, walk to the exit which is beside the first row.

Wth can see the dot and blur too.

so conclusion 4k or hd1080p all depends on how small your screen is and how far you sit . More like perceived clarity.

Further away the more clear it gets. And if really want to see a projector clear or not , must see the area around the dot got floggy or not.

enough of the layman thoughts on top. By theory 4k or hd1080p is the number of pixels that make out of the projection but well our eyes not super man and we not going to sit at first row to watch a tv or cinema.

so pay more $$$ to buy the number 4k to make us feel good . Majam like 4D, every week buy but the fact is, every week the big price still not yours . Just feel good and feel the hope la 😄

Saw this .. any comment ?

Update:

Having found and been alerted to other similar products on websites like Alibaba and Beamerx, we reached out to the company for clarification. According to Zac Tan, Co-Founder of Lumos Projector, they are the only company officially licensed to sell this product in Singapore.

Tan also added that the units Lumos receives are built to order to meet local specifications and undergo proper production and full-line testing and receive a one-year full local warranty and a dedicated support team. So should customer who purchase it from other sources have an issue, they will be unable to receive any warranty support from the manufacturer. In the event of any fault or issue, Lumos Projector will repair or exchange a unit if required.
Actually what he said applies to all OEM products. There are a lot of electrical appliances that are OEM products.

Only one changed to one of the few licensed to sell
Means got other official resellers?
Means they are not exclusive seller in SG. If they are exclusive seller, they can sue the rest. Means the original wording that they are the only company is self declared. Not supported by contractual agreements.

What does oem really means?
original equipment manufacturer.

meaning if you want your brand "Ignatius J" on the projector, it can be done provided you meet their moq. think you can also customise the specs, color etc.

Tiong projector only got a few legit brands like xgimi, jmgo, Xiaomi.
Buy projector is got a lot of specs need to look into like lumens, contrast ratio, dynamic ratio, native resolution, keystone, colour reproduction, autofocus, throw distance, fringing and chromatic aberration of lens etc.
Any projector not from the major brands I mentioned above are likely OEM crap and Lumos falls under the crap category no matter how they claim to be different from the rest.
A good amdk/jipun brand like Epson, canon, viewsonic etc. even at lower native resolution can outshine OEM tiong crap advertising as 1080p native (which is most likely upscaled reso and falsely marketed as native). That's why they cost thousands and used in professional settings.

Hi. Curious how this 6000 lumens fair against those HT projectors like Benq, Sony, JVC, Epson which costs few thousands and comes with not more than 3000 lumens and not smart

These 6000 lumens is BS cos they don't use proper methods to measure. They put the light sensor directly on the bulb to measure the brightness, whereas those branded ones follow the industry standards of actually measuring the result on the screen.
