Of course I would like to play newer games. Even existing games demand more resources after a major patch, such as the recent 9.0 patch to W.o.T. Even my HD4870 was struggling to keep up after that patch.

About the cost of RMA, the local price for an Asus 280X is 519SGD. A 130$ premium over Amazon. What will be shipping cost back to the US if it fails?

Why must it be ASUS? Powercolour 280x can be gotten at $419 or so. $100 diff for like what, 1-5fps diff and mayb 1-5 C degrees cooler?

On top of that, best is to get registered tracking, but with gpu size, its gonna b ex... At most u can rma 2-3 times and u break even le... At least in SG, u rma 10 times, your bus/mrt trips also wun be $100... excluding cab fares.

Most shops in SLS do sell. 3 yrs warranty. The pricing i gave depends on how well u use your mouth... Not in a bad way..

Bro a tip of advice in picking diff brands of gpu. Pay more attention to the sound, gpu clearance, heat and price. Don't focus too much on the performance cause they are all the same since its only a few fps diff but to get that small boost you have to sacrifice price, heat and sound. Find the one you are most comfortable with then buy. For me I choose Msi cause it's one of the most silent cooler around, price and performance not that much impactful unless it's the toxic card or Asus

Iirc Msi 460 and gigabytes is 440? Can't rmb the prcicing liao hahaha but in sg Asus not recommended for gpu due to pricing.

Sg brands quite limited... for AMD most common ones are Asus, Msi, Gigabyte, Sapphire and powercolor

You can try waiting till PC how at june... Not the end of may show. But at most offer SSD promos nia. Once in a while offer others.
