Tier C is ok for light usage and normal usage, D and E best to avoid.

Heavy or spikey workload such as virtualization, rendering, or gaming better get B and above for better protection and overloading headroom, overall better components.

This? No problem so long it is working properly not giving you any issues.

Yes. Without the new things. It is depending on the batch one of my friend buy from Cooler Master and they face issue.

Batch Issue? Not that I know of.
MVE series especially not V2 range some model have strange issues.
Especially during gaming it will just shutdown or switch off.
V series and GM are OK in my opinion.
I still have a old CM GM here still working no issues.

Hidden option? Cheapest is FSP next will be VIOS which some shop may recommend for cheap psu.
Icute, VIOS best to avoid cuz risk of exploding is very high.

For me without 80 PLUS Bronze minimum i would not buy on my opinion. The higher grade you go the more money you spend but in return the power saving will come to keep in mind

From Taobao psu usually are not safe.
If you want to try is up to you.
Risk of damaging the pc is very high.
Cuz I have a few PC with Taobao psu blow up at my side.

Doesn't look legit at all.
Up to you if you just want cheap PSU, can ask for this PSU from shops like Bizgram.

Because superflower is an OEM PSU for most common computers brand eg EVGA, and FSP for workstation computer and sometime sever. Plus they have basic 80+ so you pay more for good then some other brand dont have that and they can boom ur part.

My Superflower Leadex II has been running strong for 7 years with daily use, proving itself to be in a league of its own when it comes to reliability, even compared to other premium brands that have strong marketing.

The PSU wasn’t even that expensive considering its performance and longevity. I paid just over $100 for it.

A decade ago, I learned that lesson firsthand after purchasing 3x FSP Aurum Gold units on separate occasions.
All of them developed issues or instabilities within 6 months to 3 years. These were installed in PCs that are used daily, not just idling or running light workloads on a home mini server. This was a real-world, long-term reliability test.

I know some people like to bring up servers as a counterargument, but let’s be real, many of these so called servers are merely "self serving home servers" that is idle literally 90% of the time and only occasionally handling small tasks. That’s nowhere near a valid comparison. Besides, server-grade components and consumer-grade PSUs are built to entirely different standards.

That experience taught me to avoid budget and mid-tier PSUs entirely if you really are in for the long run, plus superflower low failure rate is not a fluke from someone having worked in RMA.
