Other Tips for Gout Relief:
  • Elevate: Keep the foot elevated above the heart to reduce swelling.
  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to help your body flush out uric acid.
  • Avoid Pressure: Use a loose sock or cut the toe out of a sock to avoid pressure on the joint.
I got buy this at home for elderly. It's suitable for many foot problems.

Very cheap i think less than 10 bucks

If your really sure you didn't injured yourself, like sprained or Kenna trauma, then out of nowhere swollen and pain like that is very high chance gout.

Surely you can give more info than just a photo with barely any context?

Could be diabetes. After effects of huge bigass bowl of salty ramen without hydrating. Or your preferred gout. Could even be the person actually injured the ankle but didn't get treatment so it slowly worsen over time. Or even a poisonous insect bite. Or just just ate something seriously bad causing severe dehydration due to diarrhea so the body desperately trying to hold water by swelling up. Heck, could even be underlying heart condition so bloof pooling at the extremities.

Or the brain already damaged first so unable to understand how the heck anyone supposed to know from a glance.

If both legs swollen and no joint pains then not likely gout. Swollen legs can be due to kidney problems which resulted in retention of salt and fluid in your body, hence swollen legs. Do go to see your doc and do a blood test to check various parameters. One of the tests is kidney function. The results will tell you your blood creatinine level and eGFR . eGFR will tell you percentage of normal kidney function left in you. The doc will advise you accordingly if there is kidney problems.
