Since I opens multiple things at once, I'll need that much of ram.
Does this setup ensure smoothness even when alt-tabbing out of games? :O

Thank you in advance for your pro advices :)

Cpu & Mobo : Asrock H87 Performance+I5 4570 - Tradepac @ $392
-Choosing Asus cause of it's mobo reputation being durable,
Ram: PC3 1600CL10 G.SKIL RIPJAWS Z 8GBX2 - Tradepac @$ 173
HDD: W DIGITAL 1TB BLUE 64MB SATA3 -Tradepac @~$80
SSD: Plextor M5S 128GB - Tradepac @ $139
GPU :MSI GTX 770 TWINFROZR - myNextCom @$645
-MSI Twinfrozr cause of it's cooling
PSU & Case: Sharkoon T28(RED) + Seasonic M12II Modular 620w 80+ psu - Pcthemes @ $195
-bundle pack by pcthemes :)

Total $1624.

I really hope there are ways for me to lower the cost for this >: .

Why do you want to get i7 for gaming? ITs not going to improve performance over i5. Also rather than getting 1333 RAMs, get 1600 ones. There is a noticeable performance difference.

What's with all the response here o: 4570 is an i5.
i5-4570 is sufficient for your build btw.

Why not consider getting the m5p for $150-160 instead of m5s?
Ram can get cheaper ones if you don't need bling bling.
Mobo can downgrade if you don't need the additional features.
Else, dun really know what to cut. Maybe about $5 to 10 here and there only. Plus some bargaining and from cheaper sources (TP). Might be able to bring this rig down by abt $100?

I rather you drop the idea of getting the i7 and get the i5-4670k if oc is needed. If oc is not needed then get the i5 4570

Edited and sorry for the typo that cause the 'uproar'><

So I'll change the ram to
PC3 1600 CL10 G.SKIL RIPJAWS X 8GBX2 ,with a +$2 increase under TradePac,
Drop my mobo to H87Plus instead of Pro, -$20
What else? :o

Edit: Is Asrock mobo good? I heard rumours it was from Asus, or something. I wouldn't mind dropping, if a number of you recommends it.

AsRock is good. Been using it for my computers as well as friends' computers I built.

Anyway, RAM can get normal ValueRAM (i.e. no RIPJAWS .etc) if cost is a concern.

What RAMs would you recommend ?
Let say 2 of the same frequency , 8GB X 2, but different brands. What are usually the difference? Like G.SKILL VS Corsair?

No noticable difference one bro just get the cheapest 1600 cl9 you can afford if aesthetics is not an issue for you.

Also, some of the nicer looking rams such as the vengeance and dominator series have heatsinks

That's right, no difference if you are not overclocking the RAM or not going for the colour scheme / aesthetics.

ValueRAMs also have limited lifetime warranty anyway. Doesn't really matter what brand. Kingston, corsair, crucial, gskill ... all ok.
