my car was rear ended by a taxi few weeks ago. settled through insurance claim and repaired at kah motor. haven't been active in doing homework so just hoot the itb-100hd that they are carrying cos can one shot do all and no need to spend additional homework + potential few trips to look see. with power saver and installation and gst comes up to $495.

i got 2 qns:

1) confirm can use 32gb sdcard with no issues? the SA advised to use 16gb instead as 32gb may be "too big" and may cause duno what problem.

2) how much issit if i were to get the same config from outside say from the lobang here? just wanna know how many carrots i have paid for :o

buy the SD card at Best Bargain Level 5 SLS. $28.90. I think went up by a dollar to $29.90.

please weigh the travelling time/distance. don't hoot me say i make you travel then like no difference to savings.

Challenger sells $48. Popular $52.

haha roger that. didn't notice best bargain's pricing. i did see the shop next to cybermind, also very cheap. didn't take note of the 32gb. was looking at the 16gb that time. ~$18 vs the usual $25-ish.

anyway intending to go down this afternoon :D

got the sandisk class 10 32gb today. will be swapping out the default given 8gb soon!

btw, I know it's too late but just wanna do some post-purchase info gathering since I dived into it quite blind:o...

I think there are quite a variety of much cheaper dvr in the market. from <$100 to $100++ ones. this itb-100 seems to be on the high side, like still around the beginning of dvr era price range? or maybe slightly lesser. so my question is, is this really better than those sub $200 ones, or even $200+ ones? also, is this ipass a reputable brand? or is it just one of the many averagely-good brands?

2nd question is, does full hd really matter? or is 720p hd already more than enuff? will I be missing anything important if I switch to record in 720 instead just to prolong each cycle's recording time?

most importantly is the night recording... alot of the DVR in the market fails in this area...

The itb100 has a fps rate of 24 at full hd. Gd enuff for general use, but i do notice some jerky images at high speed. Not sure abt SI400.
