So confirm everything in English?

How long did it take to arrive?

I ordered mine from eBay from a Korean seller. 300 including the power device.

English software can be downloaded off the Internet. Seller sometimes will send it to you anyway.

Took 3 days to arrive. I installed it myself. Huge savings compared to buying it locally.

Thanks! I'm very tempted to buy it now.

Is the seller apple-CT? From the link shared by ratppl?

yes..english player and firmware..u can request the seller to send it to u..or u can ask any of bro here who brought from ebay to send you a copy...
IMHO..the firmware only used it once for setup or configuration..after that you just copy and backup the setup file found in the SD card. for playing the video..u can use windows media player to play if you not interested in the gps data.

Mine was installed by hiding the cable. I bought the power supply module so the camera is connected to the battery.

The camera is installed behind the rear view mirror. The power cable is run along the top of the windscreen to the A-pillar. There, I opened the A-pillar and ran the cable alongside the IU cable to the fuse box located below the dashboard.

Quite clean. The only cable visible is the cable on top of the windscreen.

Yeah, I fitted it myself.

Surprisingly, it isn't difficult. I thought it would take me hours to fix it up. I got it fixed up while waiting for my wife at her workplace. Took me 15 mins.

You just need to know where your fuse box is. And that is a no brainer because you just need to see where your vehicle IU is connected to. You just simply run the cable the same way as your IU is run. And to conceal it, you just need to open up the relevant panels to hide the cable.

hmm follow IU wiring, the wire 'disappears' beneath the dashboard :s22:

how to check?

So you got to open the dashboard? I didn't completely open everything lah. I open a bit of opening, drop a line through the side, tie it to the cable that I want to run and pull through.

Else pay money for ppl to do lor.

Can those who has installed this video camera take a picture of it being mounted on your windscreen and it's location?

Thanks!

I think I'll be ordering from eBay soon and I want to know how to mount it. My current one is placed on the driver's side, so it's bias towards the right of the car.

By the way, is it easily detachable?

I park in an open space carpark, so I will not be leaving the recorder in the car.
