I switched to a bigger capacity SD card, that's why I didn't see the setup file.

By the way, my date is 1 hour later leh.

You can set the GMT time with the software. If you don't have the english software, you can google for it.

I just received my package today, but I don't know the difference between power save or power magic.

I see a catalogue of the UPC but I have no idea what it is saying.

I've just received the cam from apple ct today....will set it up over weekend.

but i guess... these unauthorised resellers have enough sets to do 1-1 exchange in the event if the unit is faulty.

only thing is those sets they have in stock... is it stolen or not.

but i think most will heck... as long as set is working fine and cheap so far unless lemon product... when u buy things how often u claim warranty?

Then again, the local Support vs overseas Support will be the difference. Also the charges incurred for sending back differs. Different people different priorities.

well unless u damn suay lah got a lemon set. i doubt it will break down almost immediately haha.

anyway send back i think wun cost more then $100. unless u send back a couple of times.

quick qn i tried to change my setting but got error msg failed to save setting the parameter. i tried all sort ways, format the sd, recopy the setup file, still fail. any idea wat's causing this?

Is the lead time that matters to many people. also very common to encounter usage questions like our Bro here.
one call or SMS is enough to know the answer, or posting in forums n waiting for replies, there's definetly a difference in the level of support.
Imagine u down with no camera n meet with accident, easily cost u more than 1k lol. No ppl can predict what will happen, so there are risks n precautions which u can choose to take.

The problem is due to the blank card after u format.
You need to let the unit initialise n create the folder first before they can locate the folder to save the settings.

Format the card. Power up the unit with the blank card, let the unit initialise the card first then use the the software. Remember to click on sd card icon on bottom right to choose the correct drive.

i am not sure about 7 to 7, but i tried it for a couple hours under really hot sun, so far no issues.

heavy rain or sun...no problem...the only complain about this camera is that .so far ..Scandisk 32GB class 10 work best with it.
and also the price be it PI or AD...
