Hi,
I am comparing between "Blackvue DR400G-HD II" and "Itronics ITB-100HD"

Its seem they have similar spec. But blackvue seem to have a lot of complain on Burning out issue due to the heat inside the car when parked under hot sun.

Any one have experience with itronics ITB-100HD being parked in hot afternoon sun for 4 to 5 hours?

Does it overheat. Any image discolouration?

anyone having problem with ITB100HD video out to Headunit?

i got my itb100hd 2.1fw few weeks ago.. everything connected nicely.

today it started to beep repeating when i was driving, so i pull out the power cable first.. until i figure out i have to reformat the SDHC card.

here the problem.. everything works fine.. can record perfectly.. but now the display on the headunit is distorted. reversed view is ok. i'm still trying to figure out what the problem.

the itb100hd or av cable or headunit spoilt? i notice the itb100hd run quite hot in mscp could it be the reason for distorted output?

Try toggling between NTSC and PAL settings in your headunit VIDEO IN.

Bro, dont bother with the blackvue if u using for parking mode!!

if using just for driving is ok since using A/C. Jus recently, my DR400G-HD2 had a internal lithium batt burnt out probably after one of the parking mode session under the hot sun!! found the front casing melted inwards!! when i opened up, smell of bbq electronics..though still can use, it destroyed the gps chip.

now gotten the itb100hd. so far so good. still got heat. go youtube found itb100hd heat stress test at jurong island, so tis one shud be fine.
thou i still like BV design and functions etc..

my car battery early dead is likely link to the power magic UPC that is used with the ITB-100HD. It an old model that only have 11.8V cut off.
My brother in law told me that his friend power magic UPS did not cut off as per the setting..it still remain on with current draw..
anyway, I just replaced my car battery and going to replace the UPS also to the ITB-100HD model.

Everything running 24/7 will be hot for electrical devices, but no overheating issues so far for this model compared to (u know what). No it will not caused the distortion in the output, most likely the video cable problem.

I'm intending buy the ITB-100HD to replace the DR350 for the front and place the DR350 for the rear.

Bro, is ur powermagic have the 12V cut off? if not, better don't use it..my powermagic which is 11.8V cut off.."kill" my battery, prematurely...
