all these are still not enough to attract aunty polar to buy there
and I can't force it through because my youngest son is still in P1 only so still have to live near his primary school.

if we only have 2 sons entering Sec school soon and they sure can go into Griffin school then I would buy JS for sure. live near school save the kids travelling time very important

I would have made the same decision like aunty polar if to choose betw park colonial and jadescape. I go by masterplan.

THough it seems like no exciting developments at marymount, Caldecott and Bishan 1 stop away are going to have exciting developments coming up in the next 10 years. Marymount is also arguably the upper-class estate, being near to thomson area.

The plans at woodleigh are already finalised and market has already priced in the new mall.

The big 2 are clear, griffin and chinese schools.

The 3rd one, you may not agree, but ACSI is on my list. Wanted to include big 4 - NUSH, but I don't think I want so many kids.

But no doubt, the location is central and near to all the very good schools which are extremely hard to get in.

That said, if one just chiong for the sake of <1km to the school, he/she might be disappointed cuz for a commoner without any association to the schools (ie. phase 2c), <1km also no use. Want to do PV to get 2b, also no guarantee.

You can see it in the same way you can see Bishan, need to be at the higher levels to see bah, it's not really that near to the crematorium, just that in between them are all the industrial and low level landed while HDB blocks off the other side.


So its not near but yea, probably can see the BHC bah
