The 50-year-old man was convicted in January of outraging the modesty of a flight stewardess. He slapped her buttock on May 3, 2019, when walking past her on the plane and when she was attending to a passenger.

I have a couple of friends who were air stewards in their younger days. They were in charge of the cabin crew for each flight. They told me their annual salary was more than $100k. One could buy a small condo and owned a HDB, and wife was not working. So it looks like Chief Steward can earn very decent pay back then.
