Of course the more days you have, the better. In case of any unforeseen circumstances, e.g. bad weather.

1D or 2D? Can chiong if you’re sibeh on. Do check the program schedule, see if there’s any indoor/outdoor performances you and your traveling group would like to watch. I know some people prefer to chiong rides only.

For me, I will plan beforehand and see if I could catch the shows/parades in between the rides (we used to chope seats for hours to get good angles to take pictures). But sometimes, we had bad weather, i.e. fireworks/outdoor performances would either be cut short or cancelled, outdoor rides were suspended (we tio this before).

Also depends on what you intend to do in Osaka. Search for events during your travel period; or look for popular eats if you’re into food (check the operation hours and days off).

I’ve not been to Osaka in August, only in late July for festival. Visited Tokyo during Obon years ago. Got sunburnt at Disney Parks despite we had umbrellas and put on sunblock. Hot and humid. Spent 4 full days there. Short rain showers for a week in mid September when I visited a manga exhibition.

Weather’s been hotter over the years. There’s also possibility of typhoons during Aug/Sep. If you’ve only these two months to choose from, probably September (not as hot as in August).

Where are you going? Okinawa on sep is 24-31, Hokkaido is 14-21. Central Japan 21-28.

Hihi all Sirs and Madams~ i am planning a 14 days Kyushu road trip itinerary:

1 - Fukuoka
2 - Yufu
3,4 - Beppu
5,6 - Kumamoto (include visit Aso + Takachiro Gorge)
7,8 - Kagoshima
9,10,11 - Nagasaki (go via the Shimabara Ferry via Kumamoto)
12 - Sasebo (Omura Bay)
13,14 - Fukuoka

On the 12th day - should i visit Arita or Yanegawa (with base at Sasebo) ~ still comtemplating....for a day trip. Most likely skipping Hui Tens Bosch.

Also for any feedback~ anyone rented car from Trip.com? Any problems with insurance claims?

i dont recall local banks give 4 digit. my citi card is 6 digits

Only use citi card as back up. Get better exchange with you trip.

To answer your question, rarely use signature in last few trips. Pin also.
