I still using Starhub pre-paid sim card, buy WOW data plan via Starhub app.
Thinking to try those japan ICC sim card, sell from Lazada...

Most convenient option is actually using your telco roaming data

then no need to change sim card, can keep your number etc. Starhub roaming 3gb might be able to last 1 week and that is $20

13 bucks for 3gb,1 week. Starhub prepaid that is.

20 bucks should be 6gb, 8 days

Changi one both the normal + orange all thiong brand one
If u es t to make sure it's good ask if docomo

Most wifi or sim only tap on SoftBank even singtel or m1 but starhub tap on docomo

I once rent one Japan mifi docomo and a Japan or Korean mifi egg and a starhub roam all on docomo all is good

i am going to japan next month for 15 days, and bought 2 x 8 days japan simcard from changi recommends.

As per the email communique with changi recommends representative, it is unlimited 4G for 8 days and no fair usage policy, same as their wifi egg rental type.

it is $21.9 for an 8 days sim card, but they have 17% discount now so its cheap to buy. Plus changi recommends gave out a $10 e-voucher which stacks with the 17% discount, hence i got 2 cards for just $26 and some cents.

my trip last year, i used the wifi egg and it was good all around, and i suspect the telco for the wifi egg and the sim card should be the same, hence i do not expect any issues with the sim card.
