Tried a few Jabra BT headsets at IT Show.
It's not sealed and volume not loud enough.

The above is it normal for Sports BT IEMs

no prob. you can apply for the changi rewards card online and head down to T3 basement 2 to collect your card. Electronic hub will be at Level 3 :D

Do we need to be flying to buy it at $217?
Or can we just head down to changi to buy?

I didn't feel the X2 was comfy. The fitting was great for my ears. It felt big and was a bit heavy. But the battery life is great though. Just my 2 cents.

big and chunky
easy to fall out despite trying S M L
the Comply tips ok but no noise isolation!

A big problem I had with the original BBX was that after a long period of usage, the silicon tips kinda enlarged and would slip off the earphone.

Happened to me and 2 other friends. We traded our silicon tips since luckily all of us used different sizes. I moved on to BBGo2 after the 3 pair of tips became un-usable...and while BBGo2 has a protrusion to prevent the eartips from slipping out... the battery is just darn horrible.

Can anyone who has the X2 take out the silicon ear tips and take a pic of the bore?

I find that using it over ears is slightly more comfortable. Probably less pressure/weight on my ear

Agree about the battery life. Probably why I went with the jaybird instead of cheaper models.

Specifically it's memory foam; though I find (perhaps due to the large stem diameter of the X2) the portion of foam on the X2 comply buds a bit the miserable.

as for the ear oil soaking issue; it happens to most (I think Shure has some complys that have a layer of guard but their bore doesn't fit X2s) comply tips.

Yah, happens to me too...I have lost both my L-size already

Very interested to see this portion.

Since I've lost my main pair (the L size ones) of X2 eartips, I can provide you a photo of the stem now, as well as my current eartip replacement...I suspect due to the weird tapering at the bore of my current eartip, it actually prevents a full dislodge when I extract the earphones out of my bag & pocket:

Truth to be told, eartip slipping off its stem happens to me when I was using some other brand of earphones. & it's always one of the sides (unsure if it's always the same side)...

Thanks, seems like the design of the bore is still the same as X1.

Here's the difference on BBGo2 for your reference. You can see that there's some protrusion on the bore which may be holding the eartips in place.

If I purchase the Jaybird X2 from Amazon straight. How is the warranty coverage like? If I have issue with the headphone, is the Amazon set warranty covered in local Singapore service centre?

Thanks guys!
