Just an update on my x2 from LRT. My number 3rd replacement set from LRT spoiled last Saturday run. All this since july 2016...Omg, during the run, the headset will suddenly power off, then maybe 1 to 2 mins into my run, it can be powered on but music is very laggy. Then suddenly, it will auto call or voice prompt numerous time before power off. Can't be charged also...
I am just using the headset for my run so I guess this is not really sweat proof...LRT distributor also removed the jaybird X2 from their website I guess many defects..

I've had a pair of Jaybird X2s for about 6 months now. Great sound, but the audio constantly cuts out when connected to my phone, which is in my pocket and I am walking. Recently, I am starting to get a bit of distortion from the left side as well. Has anyone else encountered this as well?

Had mine since Dec 15. When I get distortions esp on the mrt, I find that turning off and on again resolves it.

Hey guys, I gotten a Jaybird Freedom as gift and when I use it paired to my tablet, I found that whenever I press volume up there's this very disturbing distortion sound? It happens only on the right side of the earpiece.

I'll hear it sometimes during playing back audio too, as well as pausing and resuming my audio. Is this a common hardware issue and I should go for warranty? Thanks!

I would advise people to avoid buying jaybird x2 headset for your sports/exercise purpose. My 4th set exchanged from 2 weeks ago can't be charged up or power on. It was just after 2 to 3 runs, I decided to charge the headset for next longer run. the light indicator shows green but next day I can't power on. Now charged a while still red and not holding charge....
Going down later to LRT for my 5th replacement set...

My X2 one side softer than the other, I don't use it for exercising at all, damn lazy to send down for repair too far for me :(

just went down to LRT for an exchange yesterday.. I had tried to call their office but no one pick up their phone and in the end I resort to facebook to message them. Lucky there is stock for replacement.
I told them its my 5th set replacement already and the person sounds surprised. He told me I am the only one that have problem and they sold plenty of the jaybird x2....

can anyone please let me know if the X2's fall out if you wear only one ear bud?

I tend to keep one bud out just so I can hear my surrounding and when ppl talk to me on public transport. not sure if the weight of the other earbud or controller will pull the other bud out.

Thanks

Just bought a jaybird freedom and read that we should charge using 5v 500ma charging pod. Can I know what type of adaptor you all are using? Iphone adaptors seems too high

The charging pod will draw the right charge current as long as it is supported by the charger. 500mAh is a standard USB current so not an issue.

Just an FYI ...
I bought the Jaybird X2 from Hachi 6 days ago.

Used 3 times for exercise. Now they are spoilt.... Too bad I did not read Simon's experience before I bought them :(
