If your usual Singapore monthly groceries is about S$500/month
JB probably can help you save 30-40% of that == S$150-200 /month
You can add in how often u massage, eat at restaurants etc as well and the savings from it.
(we normally do not go massage every day, eat DTF every meal...)
You can spread it over a few trips or a few people if you are worried about GST allowance.

Just calculate and think per trip, how many hours was spent in and out vs time spent in singapore to get the same stuff.

Ask yourself whether is your time worth the trip(s).
If no, then don't waste time to go in and spend the time on other worthwhile activities that u normally don't get to do.
If yes, then you are most probably not of edmw level

Most people like TS are naive. They buy ultra processed sugars and chemicals only to pay for them with their health time and again. It is never the cost of food that matters but the toll it takes on your well being.

If found out bought some prescription only meds without declaring then hong kan liao.

That's the similar to Microsoft telling you your computer is not upgradable to Windows 11 and Apple told you you cannot use Bluetooth to transfer files on their phones. And you just follow. 🤣

Please do not be biased against malaysia in that the F&B industry is all non-nutritional and/or non-healthy etc.

Yes, their overall taste buds tends to swing towards the deep-fried, sweetened and heavy on the msg but there are comparable, healthy choices in most shopping centres and eateries almost all around. Groceries choices are varied as well and it is up to the consumer to choose and select healthier options.

Not commenting on the industries there but on the naive people who keep bringing back ultra processed sugars and chemicals then wonder why their health keeps falling apart.
