Ya, no car is issue but still can buy small things like medical..saw sinkies go over to grab some even some bring list to buy there.
Got car sometimes slower than those take bus cause got bus lane n car will jam
nowadays the hypertension medication issued by polyclinic… I needed… very affordable. And I need to see doctor for blood test, it don’t make sense for me to buy from JB… half year of medication after consultation and medisave.. $6-$15. viagra and cialis is buy for friend one…

If your usual Singapore monthly groceries is about S$500/month
JB probably can help you save 30-40% of that == S$150-200 /month
You can add in how often u massage, eat at restaurants etc as well and the savings from it.
(we normally do not go massage every day, eat DTF every meal...)
You can spread it over a few trips or a few people if you are worried about GST allowance.

Just calculate and think per trip, how many hours was spent in and out vs time spent in singapore to get the same stuff.

Ask yourself whether is your time worth the trip(s).
If no, then don't waste time to go in and spend the time on other worthwhile activities that u normally don't get to do.
If yes, then you are most probably not of edmw level
some edmw logic is go in jam waste time not constructive. but can pcw hete whole day very constructive.

Mooncake fair now at some malls. Cheapest I saw joymum rm60 for a box of 4. The rest are around rm100-120.

I guess it still cheaper than sg by quite abit right? Not a fan of mooncakes

Just buy from cheap cheap like from fragrance.. $5 per piece kind? 😂

last year I buy, bake skin + double yolk, standard is around avg rm100 for 4pcs.

Go Perling wet market sells all kind of seafood in all ranges of prices.
Very interesting place to shop for seafood poultry veggies and fruits including plants.
Sells moringa fruits : drumstick
The big hibiscus flowers plants can be found here at Rm25 a pot.
