Indeed… No good schools but the location is so convenient that you probably can just settle every need in Jurong and no need to go out to town
but yes it’s super crowded.. my friend thought Tampines Mall and NEX was crowded but she got a shock when she came to JE… when my kid was younger, most weekends I escaped out of zoolong cos everywhere was crowded and long queues
I think many ppl misunderstood the market. They thought interest high = game over. These buyers are buying into the market 3-4 years later.
Scenario 1: if interest goes down, they will finance cheap and then self stay or rent out
Scenario 2: if interest goes up, they will rent out higher to tenant.
Either way they win.
Everyone might argue “cannot be lei, it is supply and demand driven. They don’t think there is demand”. Make very logical sense because China market is bad, US in high debt, Israel fighting war. But the world in a mess means opportunities for SG.
Now, if Singapore is preparing 100,000 digital. Cybersecurity job and future Jurong Lake District hiring 100,000 more, where got no supply? These 200,000 ppl cannot be local right? We were got talent? I think the talents will come from China. And when these ppl come, they come alone of bring their whole village?
One of my friend who is a top investor once taught me “if market keeps going in the opposite direction of what you think, then you should think why this is so. You can think what you think and if market doesn’t agree with you, you are screwed”. Seems like this make sense
The only and biggest worry to me is will the war erupt into World War III? If it does, then likely game over. So I will be buying more gold in case our banking data is gone then all of us reset to $0 in bank account
