I got mine le. After 3 months of wait. I ordered direct from JH and saw many heafiers say change CF case to round metal case will be faster so that's what I did.

I think Jaben sends by snail mail so will probably take about 2 weeks to reach JH. 2 weeks after BF means there may be about 1 thousand ppl ahead of you

What your impression so far? Do you drive with amp?

I have a special request, cus I'm half deaf so I'm asking for a single sided IEM. Angie got back to me saying they can do a 1 sided stereo (JH5 or Jh10x3), but from my research it seems what I might want is a JH13fp, 1 sided (need not be 1sided stereo).

Wonder what he thinks. Cus SQ and signature wise if I can just use a single sided JH13fp, and play mono tracks/output, will be better, and don't have to pay full price - hopefully. Anyone with suggestions?

I created a thread on headfi but i guess not many have this kind of experience lol.

true..yeah i understand. I wish I can just go with JH13fp single side non-stereo, pay half the amount and be done with it.

If they can't make one side only at half the price you can perhaps get them to make both exactly the same. I.e both sides from only 1 ear mould. So theoretically you have 2 lefts/rights. Then can keep one at home as a spare.

Pretty impressed by Roxanne's so far. But still getting used to the warmer sound sig compared to jh16 which is brighter. The Rox'es are definitely a step up from the 16's. There's something about the sq I find hard to describe. Like headfiers have said it sounds like headphones.

The bass adjuster really is god sent. For now I'm mostly hanging around the 12 oclock setting. Sweet spot for me as I listen pop, rock, edm. At 2-4 o'clock setting with edm you basically in jouk dancing around with girls liao.

No amp. They're pretty easy to drive I think.

Hmm.mmm. This might not be the right thread but I also asked stereo if I could get the UM mentors one sided at half price. they called back and yes, I could get 1 side mentor at 949.9!

now I'm torn between this and stereo 1 sided JH10x3 at 799 usd before impressions and gst n shipping etc. I'm afraid 1 sided stereo might just be... bad.

Just went to check on my JH5 orders placed in end Dec. Still no news. Was told the other orders pre Dec are just starting to roll in.. could be another month or so before mine is here.. sigh

How does the warranty work for Jaben?
If the cable nut breaks, possible to do 1-to-1 exchange?

nope non cf.
did not fancy the cf and had a hunch that CF would have issues as I know the difficulties in producing it the right way.

This weekend ah....we can hope.

Really wished I went for the K10 after hearing them at Treoo.

Now waiting for X5 or Zx1 and then try them out.

Don't think the aluminum nuts are ready since they've been pushing the clear ones to you guys. I just mailed them so just see what they say. Think they'll prolly ask me take clear cable.
