it sounds very thin....superbly coloured...and there is so much reverb to give it an artificial soundstage...also its slow which is y ppl say its smooth....

I'm thinking of Calyx M , if only they lower the international pre-order price to less than US$850
If Sony Wisma receives their ZX1 stock this month, maybe I'll audition them with the Roxanne

Save or don't save the $200 both also fine la. Those leap of faith trust JH since he's the top ciem maker for many years and those who waited to audition them first spend extra $200 but at least they won't get heart attack when the $2k iem arrives. As long everyone enjoys their music is most important.

haha sadly i doubt i would enjoy the new roxannes....theres a treble rolloff after auditioning them again it just doesnt extend like the 13s.....if the actual one still has the issue and wif cable swap too....im gonna make another 13

haha u deserved it anyways! hopefully the next batch comes next week since they said it would be shipped out in a couple of days. so hows the sound as compared to the demos? any flaws wif the product physically?

No scratch no chipped...shell colour is correct...artwork colour and position are correct...fit is very good...
CF case still have a little bit flaw...but much better than those who posted on head-fi...
Sound wise...it's quite muffled at first...now it's getting better and better after 2 hours burn-in...
