why? seems like true to say JH takes sh*ts on customers and they come back for more no?

to stvc11 you have to work hard for a good fit. if you buy CIEM you have to send it back until perfect and if you buy universal you need to buy ever brand and size of tip until you get one perfect for you. the one I have now makes it sound like TOTL over the hear, like Audeze LCD3 quality. with the wrong tip roxanne sounds 20% to maybe 40% worse. this is the problem with tiny armature headphones they maek tiny sound that is affected by tiny things.

you people lazy no want to work hard. just want things easy.

I don't talk about customer service, i know they suck in this area. For fitting, i always have this question, what it mean by perfect fit? To me the seal is already there, the only different is comfortability. Because all we talking here is by word, only imaging, guess... so until now i still don't know what is perfect fit. To me Roxanne sound good for some track, the thick sound make some track awesome, i think you like it bass which i like too but the high i just feel it veiled. For general i much prefer MH334. There is some magic with the Roxanne, the SQ become very good after sometime of wearing it because of Brain burn but when comparing with other i just prefer other. I think just my preference.

Since you got the universal one, maybe we shall meet up to test out all your tips available and compare to my customer version:D. I can let you try my balance cable also :s13:. deal?

let me explain. would you expect roxanne to sound different with these two tips?
1. comply p series slim
2. comply p series slim with the top 5mm cut off to make it short

both provide the same seal. both are inserted same distance into my ear maybe 1-2mm difference. both similar comfort and isolation. but the second sounds maybe 5-10% better. not sure why but that extra foam was affecting the sound. i dont know science. maybe removing extra foam creates room in ear canal allowing music to bounce around or something. but tips make big difference. must be same for CIEM fit.

Meet up... meet up... meet up.... No meet up, whatever mentioned here are just words. WORDS EVERYWHERE!
I tried ortofon, ATH and sony hybrid on it. None can fit into my ears. Complys are just sucked so hard that it has to eat away the highs of music. Just saying.

Stvc, is there a refit issue with ur rox? U spent so much and if u r selling it, the lose is high for custom. If u r getting fitear,u can buy it first and do a/b comparison. Can decide from there again. Rox is still under wty, u can send for refit, tunning, etc. My rox is with JH again after refit. The tunning in left n right is not balance. gotta be abit patient with JH atm.
