i was always wondering how the customs fad came to light....before that when i made my jh13 in the first batch only a very small handful were into customs...many ppl were like wtf...2k per earphone...even 600 was insane...now its pretty much a norm...

well, if u look back in time...there was also a company called livewires ... which had probably one of the cheapest 3 driver customs on the market compared to Westone or UE...and helped drove interests in the customs market...then came JH..then UM..and the rest is history..

oh ya live wires...wif their weird rotating pin! haha true it was at the price point of tf10(after logitech reign)....i guess Um was the one which made it "affordable" offering reshell options

their weird rotating pins are mmcx connectors which are used in shure 535..and other ciem companys.. could say Livewires are the pioneers in using this connectors on CIEM..

i dunno coz everytime i flu...my current pair dam tight...as if ear swollen so yea...if tmr make impression it will be smaller than usuall...then gg when arrive the fit too small haha..

noble i tink is Treoo.
now lots of new custom in sg.
from Null Audio you can try hidition, rooth and canal work
from Treoo you can try lear,noble and heir
from E1 you can try vision ears and 1964ears
from Jaben you can try fitear, jh and many more that i cant remember.

But so far only got poison by vision ears and jh nia

i feel most customs demo very far away from the actual unit...until u actually get a proper mould the sound of most custom demo to me is very bad....including the jh13 for that matter before i made mine....that being said my ears are quite stubborn which is y i can only use customs lolz

i tot the jh13 demo was really bad.
but when i heard the jh13fp/16fp demo at the previous mook
