drivers are super cheap...35usd a piece is what they are charging for repairs....CF wise dun count labour shudnt be that bad la...anyways standard refit is they add more acrylic on the surface if its too loose...and too tight remove abit of clear coat on top.....only if this two options are not viable then they will redo....which most of the time they wont

Kinda agree. When I first received mine I thought the sq was good but nothing great. But given some time the sound starts to open up and its really in a league of its own. Now I wonder is actual burn in? Or brain burn in?

I think as long as it sounds better than the iem you are upgrading from is all that matters. :)

On a side note, has anyone ever returned to an old pair of iems and found that it sounds better than the new ones?

Wear a few more days maybe your ear will get seasoned to it?
Has the pain lessen over time?

i may need a refit on my right ear as well. probably need to request a new impression from jaben. The sore is lesser extent than when first put in.but still felt sore after putting down rox.

When putting on, it prove more difficult than the other ear which has a gd fit.My right ear just scream bad. fit.

To me it's not brain burn-in...
Most of the time I just let it run without listen to it...

Nope
It got worse on the left and I can see why. Looked at the ciem and saw the potential problem area.

Strange. The only way it could hurt the ear is that the shell was made too big as a whole or in certain areas.
I don't see why that can happen when they are making it based on your molds.
Unless the mold expanded somehow?
