It'll only be 'value-for-money', to me, if it can at least perform on the level of a (Ref.1 + uBer Too) combo.

Will be intrigued to give it a listen once demo sets are available here.

Layla better be good... Lucky I never upgrade to Roxanne... My understanding is that Layla sound is flatter than the Roxanne... Whatever that means... Lol

Well, Jerry did mention that Layla is gonna be a studio monitoring reference quality (C)IEM.

plenty of layering in the midrange for the layla...high freq fairly ok...

bass is... firm and steady.. quite like... considering it is a BA driven bass.


but still, am still a DD fan.
